The Tabernacle Rescue Squad will be holding a community CPR training on May 3rd & May 31 starting at 7:00 P.M. at our station located at 134 New Road in Tabernacle.
Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants.
This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
In order to maintain a good student to instructor ratio space is limited.
Cost is $25.00

Santa is coming to Tabernacle again this year! His Big Blue sleigh will begin making the rounds on Wednesday evening at 6pm. Below is a street listing for each evening of Old Saint Nick's tour with the volunteers of Tabernacle Rescue Squad. Take note that his sleigh is a bit too large to cover our unpaved sections of town and his reindeer have a hard time turning themselves around on dead-end streets with no court. So if you find yourself on one of those streets, make your way to pavement or the corner of your street when you hear those sirens or see one of our lead ambulance reindeer! Also note that some streets in town are on both the eastern and western side of Rt. 206. Eastern portions of those streets will be visited on Thursday and western portions on Friday. The streets are listed in a general order of arrival, so the closer your street is to the top of that nights list, the sooner in the evening you'll be getting a visit from the Jolly fellow. Check in the coming days for a link to a GPS tracker Santa will keep with him on Rescue 4399 so you can track his progress each evening. We look forward to seeing you!
It's July and that means it's Chicken BBQ time! The volunteers of Tabernacle Rescue Squad are happy to announce that for the second year in a row, we'll be joining together with the fine folks of the Tabernacle Historical Society to host a joint Chicken BBQ. The BBQ will take place on Saturday, July 15th from 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the old Station 439 at 81 Hawkin Road. Tickets can be purchased in advance or will be sold at the door: Dinners are $12.00 and include ½ chicken, tomatoes, corn, coleslaw, potato salad, and a dessert. Takeout is available. We reccomend you come early or purchase your tickets ahead of time as we have sold out the last few years. For tickets or more information call (609) 760-1148. Come out July 16th to support two hometown volunteer groups and their causes, all while enjoying a Saturday out of the kitchen. We can't wait to host you!
